"Partners In Education" Highlights Institute Students

“Sit down, and play, you’re filled with music here.” Four students in the Fine Arts Institute agree on this one simple rule to becoming a successful musician. Jaime Renovato (junior), Maliq Mendez (sophomore), Brock Daumler (senior), and Jonah Christopherson (junior) have each found their own unique love for music.

Renovato plays four instruments: tuba, trombone, bass trombone, and trumpet, but says the tuba is unlike any other instrument. Mendez dreams of becoming a professional musician after high school. Daumler is following in his great grandfather's footsteps and has found a love for the Violin. Lastly, Christopherson found a home in his drum set and became a natural player at a very young age. Although these students are at varying stages of their education, they all hope to continue their career in the arts.
